Erica Pelletreau, Founder and CEO, is a seasoned leader in the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors, with deep expertise in helping organizations meet mission-driven goals and foster field-wide collaboration.

With a proven international track record in elevating visibility and advancing policy goals, Erica brings smart, strategic communications—spanning media campaigns, digital platforms, and public engagement.

Erica excels in leading teams, managing high-impact campaigns, and partnering with stakeholders to drive meaningful change. She brings a strong foundation in social justice advocacy and a keen understanding of how communications can move hearts, minds, and policies.

Carlie Steen, Esq.

LEAD CONSULTANT

Carlie Steen, Esq., Lead Consultant, is a dedicated social justice advocate with more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. She brings deep expertise in organizing at the intersections of economic, racial, and gender justice, and a passion for building strong, inclusive communities.

A skilled problem-solver, Carlie partners with program teams, executive leaders, and Boards to diagnose challenges and co-create practical solutions. Her work centers on coaching, culture change, program design, and governance.

Known for her collaborative and adaptive approach, Carlie helps nonprofits develop the strategies they need to become more just, resilient, and effective. Her background spans advocacy, public policy, capacity building, fundraising, and organizational development.

Carlie’s experience includes Woodhull Freedom Foundation, Sylvia Rivera Law Project, New York Women’s Foundation, Stonewall Community Foundation, New York Communities Organizing Fund, and PTOs at the Brooklyn School of Inquiry and Urban Assembly Maker Academy.
